The Classy Cache 4 Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Ninja Reviewer: As there's been no cache to find for a long time, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Geocache Description:

This cache has lots of class...
Well... it has problems from my class!
Being a teacher, I had to get my kids involved in yet ANOTHER geocache!
You will be looking for a small rectangular lock-in lock container. The cache is not located at the posted coordinates. The posted coords are for parking. PLEASE read the explanation below!

Since geocaching is one of my favorite hobbies, I decided to let my students in on the big adventure, for a fourth time! This year, I am team teaching again, and I wanted to use a math theme, since that is the main subject I teach. I grouped my students and asked each of the groups to write a math problem that will help you find the actual cache container. Each math problem has been compiled below for you to solve.

A good student ALWAYS reads and follows ALL the directions...
1. Solve the math problems and substitute your answers into the coordinates for the final container, as follows:

North= A B.C, West= D E.FG .

2. Find the final container, using the new coordinates and log your visit in the logbook. Take a picture to post with your log online!!
3. Trade even or trade up if you want, then PLEASE THOROUGHLY replace the cache as found.
4. When you log your find online, PLEASE take a minute or two to briefly respond to at least one of the math problems you solved, or leave US a math problem to solve ourselves.
5. It would be really cool if you could post your picture with your log!

A= Tymerius had 11 pictures. Duwonna had 11 pictures, too. Paishence had 11 pictures, too. If you put all the pictures together, how many would you get? (By Kayla, Katelyn I., Duwonna, Paishence, and Tymerius)

B= (20 + 14 - 10 + 10) x 0 x 2 + (11 + 23) (By Isaiah, Phillip, Bradley, and Brandon N. T.)

C= (12 x 24) + 11 - 1 + 2 + 11 -13 (By Nathan, Morgan, Jeremiah, Sara, Tia H., Paige, Anjoria, Brianna, and JaQorie)

D= Will has four silly bands and Natalie has six silly bands and they put them together. If they got the same amount of silly bands for nine days and then gave nine of them away to Cynthia, how many silly bands do they have? (By Jessica, Mallory, Kaitlynn, and Cynthia)

E= If seven girls had eight dollars each, how much money do they have altogether? (By Kelci, Alashia, Jada, Destiny, Arianna, and Hannah)

F= Tom bought 3 model airplane kits for nine dollars each. He also bought two puzzles for five dollars each and a pair of jeans for $21. How much money did Tom spend?

G= (12 x 12 - 100 - 30 + 4) divided by 6 (By Carson, Jabez, Kenneth, Trevor, and Evan W.)

PLEASE NOTE: This is part of a student project, so PLEASE follow the directions above! My students will be excited to read your responses to their math problems and/or solve the problems you leave for us!

PLEASE rehide the containers the same or better as you found them. Caching after dark is strongly discouraged with this cache, and stealth, as always, is strongly encouraged!
