This is a quick micro cache to begin your trek up the Alander Mtn. Trail.
Mt. Washington State Forest is a hidden jem here in Western Mass and the trails are actually some of the nicest in the area in my opionin.
If your plan is to hike up to Alander Mtn., it will take roughly 2 1/2 hrs to do so if you plan on caching on your way to the top. Water is abundant until the last .3 miles or so on the trail.
In the future this cache will be upgraded to a larger cache.
