Geocache Description:

Something to do whilst waiting for the train.

Take a walk round the station, and look for something slightly predictable.

Paddington Station is a very important place for Paddington Bear. It is where he was first found by Mr. and Mrs. Brown when he arrived in London from Peru and of course it is also the reason he got his delightful name.

To commemorate this there is a life-sized bronze statue of Paddington in the station. Designed by the sculptor Marcus Cornish, the statue was unveiled on 24 February 2000.

In order to log this cache please locate the statue within the station (see hint for extra help) and attach to your log a photo of you (face doesn't have to be included, thumbs up style fine!) or your GPS/ something with your caching name in in front of Paddington!

Based on an original concept by Sangsvan from Sweden.
