Geocache Description:

Approach this easy cache EITHER from the main parking lot for Somer's Koegel Park, OR from the North County Trailway.

This easy find is a mid-sized lock 'n' lock-ish container hidden between the red and white trails in Koegel Park. The cache includes a lottery scratch-off as a reward for the first finder. A trail map is posted near the parking lot. There also is a trail map in Walkable Westchester. The shorter route to the cache is from the main parking area for the park. Not quite a park and grab, but not much more than that. For a better walk, come in from the North County Trailway. There is a short connecting spur from the Trailway to the Koegel Park trail network. Coordinates for the parking lot and for the Trailway access point are included below.

There is one other cache in the park: Team Bacmac's Koegel Hideaway (GC1XYAJ).
