Opis
Cerkev Sv. Brikcija, ki stoji južno od vasi Naklo pri Divači, je gotska podružnična enoladijska cerkev z zvončnico, ki izhaja iz prve polovice 15. stoletja. V 17. stol. so ji predelali okna, portal in obzidje. V cerkvenih virih je zmeraj zapisana kot cerkev Sv. Brikcija, medtem ko je na zemljevidih še danes napisana kot cerkev Sv. Mavricija. Ta dvojnost vlada tudi v krajevnem ustnem izročilu, saj v eni sapi cerkev domačini imenujejo cerkev Sv. Brica ali Sv. Vrica (Mavrica).
Cerkev je leta 2011 postala kulturni spomenik lokalnega pomena, saj je v sakralnem delu pomemben v celoti ohranjen prvotni prezbiterij s kamnitim gotskim slavolokom, poslikanim z motivom Oznanjenja in z zidano oltarno mizo v notranjosti. Nad oltarno steno je freska Kristusa Pantokratorja, obdanega s simboli evangelistov, medtem ko sta nad slavolokom naslikana angela, pod obokom je pas s figurami prerokov, pod njim pa z apostoli. Freske je poslikal italijanski vpliven slikar v času od leta 1480 do 1490.
Da je cerkev pomembna kulturna dediščina, ki jo je vredno ohraniti, so sicer že pred leti ugotovili domačini, ki so se leta 2008 s pomočjo občine lotili njene obnove. In leta 2010, ob godu Sv. Mavricija, so se že veselili nove strehe, obzidja, sveže prepleskanih sten in urejene okolice.
Dostop
Dostop do cerkvice je po cesti, ki vodi mimo Škocjanskih jam in skozi Matavun. Kmalu za vasico Naklo jo najdemo na desni strani ceste. Parkirni prostor je neposredno pred cerkvico. Ker je tam izhodišče pohodniške ture na najvišji vrh Brkinov, je zlasti v dela prostih dneh parkirišče lahko precej obljudeno, večje nevarnosti za srečanje z bunkeljni pa ni. Kljub temu je seveda previdnost na mestu.
Zaklad
Zaklad je škatlica 35 mm filma, v njem je dnevnik obiskov. Da bi zaklad našli, ni potrebno ničesar razkopavati! Če boste dobro gledali, ga boste videli, ne da bi premaknili karkoli. Pomagajte si z namigom, če tudi ta ne bo pomagal, mi pišite in vam bom poslal spoiler fotografijo. Po vpisovanju pazite, da boste zaklad dobro zakrili. Description
Church of St. Brikcij, located south of the village Naklo near Divača, is a Gothic church with belfry, built in the first half of the 15th century. In 17th century it had windows, portal and wall rebuilt. In the Church records it was always recorded as church of St. Brikcij, while on the maps it is still named after St. Maurice. This duality can also be seen in local oral tradition, as locals call it both the Church of St. Bric and St. Vric (Maurice).
In 2011 the church was pronounced a cultural monument of local importance, since in the sacral part there is an important preserved original Gothic stone presbytery with the triumphal arch, painted with a motif of the Annunciation and the brick altar table inside. Above the altar wall is a fresco of Christ Pantocrator, surrounded by symbols of the evangelists. Above the triumphal arch there are two painted angels; under the arch is a zone with figures of prophets, and below it with apostles. The frescoes were painted by an influential Italian painter in the period from 1480 to 1490.
Locals have realized the importance of the church as a cultural heritage that is worth preserving years ago. In 2008, with the help of Divača municipality, they started with the renovation of the church and in 2010, on the St. Maurice name-day they were cheering the new roofs, freshly painted walls and tidy surroundings.
Access
To access the church one has to follow the road that runs past the Škocjan caves and through village of Matavun. Soon after the village Naklo the church can be seen on the right side of the road. Parking is in front of the church. There is also a starting point of hiking tour to the highest peak of Brkini and because of this particularly in the work-free days parking can be pretty busy. Danger of meeting Muggles is not high, however caution is recommended.
Cache
Cache is a 35 mm film canister that holds a logbook. To find this cache there is no need to dismantle or demolish anything. In fact, if you look very closely you will find it without moving anything at all. Use hint, if still unsuccessful, contact me and I'll send you a spoiler photo.
