The Melody Hill Golf Course does not allow geocachers to park in their parking lot or to cross their property to access area geocaches. Parked cars are subject to being towed.
The Glocester Land Trust was established by the Rhode Island Legislature in 1987. The Trust is dedicated to the preservation of Glocester's rural heritage as an environmental, educational, and recreational resource for all who live, work, or visit in the Town of Glocester.
Follow the white dot Field Trail which will bring you to the old Phillips Farm that was probably started soon after Glocester was settled around the 1700s. If you traveled Putnam Pike in the early summer evenings years ago you might have seen a very old but very spry Mrs. Phillips rounding up her cows in the field and sending them to the barn. Mrs. Phillips and her cows have "gone home" to that great field in the sky and now this land is part of the Glocester Land Trust. The meadow is left uncut during the summer to create habitat for ground nesting birds and butterflies.
