Geocache Description:

Located in a county park with numerous trails. Hidden among some old CCC artifacts.

Back in the 30s this area looked very different. There were paved trails and barbecue pits built by the descendants of the very folks who built the Kensico Dam (not far away). Depending on how you choose to get to this site, your hike may be easy (from Liberty Park), medium (from the historical site of the Merrit Hill Battle), or difficult (from the Mt. Zion Church site on Buckout Rd.) All the paths lead to the picnic area where you will discover flagstone paths and BBQ/picnic areas where you could spend a nice afternoon.
