Geocache Description:


This cache is in a small black film canister and is a good find for beginners. Please bring your own pen. It will be needed as the cache is very small and cannot hold much. It contains only the notepad and nothing else.

This little park is called Loris Gardens and this cache is named Bombsite No.1 for a reason: this area was bombed in World War 2 and the house that used to be there has never been rebuilt. However this pretty little garden area was created and has been looked after and gardened ever since. If you take a careful look at the small road leading up to it, you will notice that there is no house number 1. This is because it was that house that was bombed.
