Geocache Description:

Due to complaints about people going into the mews. I have moved the cache slightly more onto the face of the Blue Cross building still a quick Cache and Dash. The cache is located on Hugh Street; do not go down into the mews. Due to high buildings in vicinity GPS devise might be off.

****This cache is located within an area frequently patrolled by Police. Please avoid acting suspiciously whilst searching for it, and if challenged, explain about geocaching.**** You are looking for a 35mm Film Canister. Bring a pen/pencil. There has been a Charity Animal Hospital on this site since Our Dumb Friends League opened its doors on 15th May 1906. Making it the oldest Animal Hospital in the World. In 1912 the league started ‘The Blue Cross Fund’ to proved pivotal supplies and veterinary treatment for animals on the battle fields of WW1 and WW2. The Blue Cross became more of a household name in regard to the charity, so in 1950 Our Dumb Friends League officially changed its name to The Blue Cross. In 2001 the old hospital was knocked down and a new building built with state-of-the-art facilities. Providing care and treatment for the animals owned by Londons' poor. This is a HI MUGGLE AREA, stealth is required at most times of the day and night. Due to complaints about people going into the mews.
