Geocache Description:

Welcome to Fort George! This historical site is in Georgetown, right next to the cruise ship harbor. You should use caution, as muggles will abound, but it is unlikely that most will care. I recently changed the cache container (1 Jan 20), so please be aware. MAKE SURE TO REPLACE WITH CORD.

What remains of Fort George stands on the corner of Harbour Drive and Fort Street in George Town, Grand Cayman. The Fort once stood overlooking the harbour, but development has landlocked this historic site. Today's visitor will see its low stone walls adjacent to the Royal Watler Cruise Terminal and may wonder when it was built and why so little is left of it!

Once at the coordinates, you will need a three digit code (which we will call ABC) to open this cache. To get the three digit code (ABC), solve the following short puzzle. All of the information needed for the puzzle can be found on the signs surrounding the cache.

A=The oval base of the Fort measured approximately A7 feet by 38 feet.

B=During World War II, Captain Ulrich Folkers commanded a U-12B submarine.

C=5

The cache container was recently upgraded after the last one was damaged/broken and not properly replaced. PLEASE make sure to replace this container properly with the cable through it to keep it in place.
