Church Micro 2342...Oakley
This cache has been placed to bring you to the Church of St Mary, Oakley.
The cache is a small recycled container. It only contains a log - after all a cacher should have their own writing implement. There is room for small trackables.
Please note that the final cache is located outside the churchyard and is NOT accessible from inside the churchyard.
The church of St. Mary is located on the outskirts of the village, close to the Great Ouse. It is an ancient edifice of stone, in the Early English style, consisting of chancel, nave, aisles, porch and a western embattled tower, containing a clock and 5 bells: under a canopy in the south wall is a mutilated recumbent figure : the chancel retains a piscina, and in the churchyard are the remains of a cross. The register dates from the year 1560.
Please take time to explore the peace and tranquility, but please be respectful in the church and its grounds.
To find the location of the final cache, you will first need to find a bench in the far corner of the churchyard. The bench is in loving memory to Roley Moore. 25.AB.CD - 22.E.FG

Please take care, especially with children, near the final location as it is close to water.
If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication
