Geocache Description:

In Lower Prospect Canal Reserve, just off the cycleway. Best place to park is on Silverthorne Dr, Pemulwuy.

Pemulwuy the suburb is named after Pemulwuy, an aboriginal leader who resisted the British occupation of their lands around the Sydney region from 1790, until his death in 1802.

He lead many attacks upon the settlers, and succeeded in organising the many tribes in the greater Sydney region to assist him in these attacks. He eventually met his end, shot by a British sailor. To some he was a hero, to others a murderer, whatever your view, he was certainly worthy of the title the Rainbow Warrior.

The cache is not your normal cache hide, and finding the container will be just the start of your endeavours to release the cache from its prison, good luck.

Please replace as found. There is no need to climb anything.
