Se no local existe algum recipiente por favor recolha-o a fim de evitar que se torne lixo (geolitter).

Uma vez que se trata de um caso de falta de manutenção a sua geocache não poderá ser desarquivada. Caso submeta uma nova será tido em conta este arquivamento por falta de manutenção.

O núcleo histórico da Sé integra um conjunto de edifícios dos primórdios da cidade do Funchal, com destaque para a antiga Alfândega de 1519, onde hoje está instalada a Assembleia Legislativa da Madeira; a Sé Catedral do Funchal de 1514; o Palácio de São Lourenço concluído na primeira metade do séc. XVI; o Teatro Municipal Baltazar Dias de 1884; o edifício onde está instalada a Câmara Municipal do Funchal, que foi mandado construir em 1758, pelo Conde de Carvalhal e a Igreja do Carmo, templo construído a meados do séc. XVIII. Existem ainda, oito espaços museológicos e um conjunto de outros pontos de interesse constituídos por edifícios, monumentos, a Ribeira de Santa Luzia, espaços comerciais e culturais.

Esta cache situa-se na Praça do Colombo, onde está instalado o Núcleo Museológico “A Cidade do Açúcar”, na antiga casa manuelina de João Esmeraldo – flamengo que se instalou na Madeira no final do Século XV para produzir e negociar açúcar.

A Cache: O local é muito frequentado, mas a cache está num ótimo local para se sentar, o que facilita a sua descoberta de forma discreta. Depois de sentado junto ao ângulo do jardim que o spoiler mostra, explore a partir do canto, em direção a sul, a parte inferior da pedra. A cache é mais pequena que uma micro e está fixa por magnetismo num local muito específico. Reponha a cache exatamente no mesmo local. Atenção: arrume o conteúdo da cache como o encontrou, feche de forma correta.

O local onde está situada a cache é muito frequentado, recomenda-se os logs à noite.

The historical nucleus of the Sé integrates a set of buildings from the beginning of city of Funchal, with emphasis on the old Customs House from 1519, where today it is the Legislative Assembly of Madeira, the Cathedral of Funchal from 1514, the Palace of St. Lawrence concluded at first half of the century. XVI, the Teatro Municipal Baltazar Dias from 1884, the building housing the City Hall of Funchal, which construction was ordered in 1758 by the Count of Carvalhal and the Carmo Church, the temple built mid-century.
