Geocache Description:

Listed coordinates are for the main entrance to the American Museum of Natural History, one of the greatest science museums in the world.

Founded in 1869, the museum has more than 32 million specimens, and is made up of 25 different buildings. There are exhibits on every area of science, from the human body to the outer reaches of space.

My favorite object in the museum is a piece of the Cape York Meteorite which was found in Greenland. The section on display is about one sixth of the whole meteorite, weighing in at 34 tons. It can be found on the first floor of the museum in the Arthur Ross Hall of Meteorites. If you come to the museum with your children, I would take them to see the dinosaurs or the butterflies (butterflies are only there part time and special tickets are needed).

The cache is a magnetized-nano hidden within walking distance of the listed coordinates. Please make sure it is sealed tightly when you re-hide it.
