This small circular walk will take 1-2 hours, depending on how quick you are and whether you detour to get nearby caches. It's generally good terrain and one of my favourite Sunday morning dog walks - easy, enjoyable, manageable and the flora and fauna are gorgeous.
There is a layby at Jay walking and grass bank parking at Sprays Farm and you could go in either direction - but the following directions assumes you'll start at Jaywalking.
The caches in this series are:
* Jay walking
* Merlin takes flight (muddy gateway just by the cache)
* Woodpecker Walk
At the gate beyond Woodpeckers, the permissive path goes through the gate on your right. However, if you carry straight on you could detour to pick up 2 more caches in a fairly short and enjoyable stroll - and even buy honey on the way! The 2 caches are:
* Holly and Ivy
* I'm so rumbly in my tumbly Then can return to the permissive walk gate and carry on the circular walk, ie:
* Bees Knees
* Forked trunks, forked tongue (where you have a marshy walk to...)
* Bottlebrush Bog
* Sprays Farm
A short walk back up the hill will take you back to Jay walking.
I hope you enjoy the walk.
