Tervetuloa! Tänään meillä on vieraanamme Sibylla, joka osaa lukea ajatuksia. Sibylla on luvannut demonstroida meille tätä ainutlaatuista kykyään tänään pienellä geokätköilyyn liittyvällä esityksellä. Emme kuitenkaan halua antaa Sibyllan ronkkia Teidän päätänne, rakas yleisömme, - eihän sitä tiedä, mitä salaisuuksia sieltä löytyisi - joten minä olen lupautunut vapaaehtoiseksi. Esityksen juoni on seuraava. Joku Teistä sieltä yleisöstä käy piilottamassa purkin, kirjoittaa kätkön koordinaatit lapulle ja näyttää lapun minulle. Näin varmistamme, että tiedätte, ettemme Sibyllan kanssa ole voineet etukäteen sopia kätkön paikkaa. Lapulle kirjoitettujen koordinaattien avulla taas voimme tarkastaa, että vapaaehtoisemme on piilottanut purkin minulle kerrottuihin koordinaatteihin, mikäli kävisi niin onnettomasti, että Sibylla ei löytäisi purkkia. No niin, olisikos jollakulla siellä yleisössä jo hyvä kätkön paikka mietittynä? Rouva siinä eturivissä, niin juuri Te, näytätte aivan siltä, että purkin paikka on jo mielessä! Sovitaan kuitenkin, että piilotatte purkin sen verran lähelle, että koordinaattien asteet ovat samat kuin täällä. |
Rouva eturivistä kiiruhtaa purkin kanssa ulos salista. Jonkin ajan kuluttua hän palaa, rustaa jotain paperille ja antaa sen tirehtöörille.

Welcome! Today we have a special guest, Sibylla, who can read thoughts. Sibylla has promised to demonstrate her unique skill for us today with a little performance related to geocaching. We do not want to let Sibylla look into your heads, my dear audience, - after all we cannot know what secrets lurk there - and so I will be the volunteer. The performance will proceed as follows. One of You from the audience will go and hide the box, write down the coordinates for the cache and show them to me. This is to make sure that You know we have not previously agreed on the hiding place with Sibylla. On the other hand since the coordinates are written down we can later assure that our volunteer from the audience has hidden the box in the correct coordinates if it were to happen that Sibylla could not locate the cache. Well, would someone from the audience already have a good hiding place for a cache in mind? Lady in the front row, yes You, You look like You would be ready to hide the cache! Let's agree that You hide the box close enough so that the degrees of the coordinates remain the same as here. |
The lady from the front row hurries out of the hall with the box. Some time passes and she returns, writes something down on a paper and gives it to the host.
