Placed in memory of Walt.He loved geocaching and life. He died last Nov 14th of cancer. This is a tribute to him. His wish to be buried in Gold Dust. A beautiful, quiet resting place. This cemetery is on National Register of historic places. Visit the church, built in 1800's and some graves are from then,also. We used to have a cache in nearby tree but archived it when the cache was lost.
Enjoy the quiet area, geese fly over, great final resting place of wonderful geocacher. Cache is medium size canister, Items include lanyards, beaded eyeglass holders,toy lizard,necklace. Log book and pen.
Be sure to look around the beautiful stained glass windows of the church. Park near the side fence and walk into the cemetery.
