Simply Paul: This has historically been a QEF. I'm happy - if that is the right word - that it's gone. Sorry everyone! I'm planning to delete the whole series as soon as I can get out SC way (as part of 31 Days of Caching in August, perhaps?) and since there's no chance I'll be replacing this cache, it is time to archive it. Thanks for all the feedback and sorry to you DNFers. Thanks too to the finders - for those confused by the clue, the General in question was the General Post Office, as marked by the concrete GPO... marker [:P]
