Magnetic Micro at a beautiful place in the National Forest adjacent to a grassy footpath.
This lake is home to at hundreds of geese as well as white ducks and Mallards and many other birds. There is also a pair of resident Buzzards, and we saw a Kestrel and a Heron when we placed the Cache.
The white geese can be aggressive but the white ducks are very friendly.
There is a footpath leaving the road to the NorthWest, some maps show it continuing to the lake but we have not found a route. The landowner does not recognise a right of way so please approach from the Hicks Lodge cycle track direction to the East.
