One of a series of 7 caches along the River Goyt from Otterspool to Marple Dale.
The River Goyt is one of the tributaries of the River Mersey. The Goyt rises on the moors of Axe Edge, near the River Dane and the Cat and Fiddle Inn.The Goyt passes through Whaley Bridge, New Mills (where it is joined by the River Sett) and Marple Bridge. Having been joined by the River Etherow, the Goyt joins the River Tame at Stockport, forming the River Mersey.
This series of caches is placed along the stretch of the River Goyt from Otterspool to Marple Dale. The path can be muddy after rain and care should be taken with small children as the path runs quite close to the river's edge.
Cache is a 35mm film pot. Please bring your own pen
