Introduction/Uvod

[EN] Why we decided to found our first holiday cache here in Povljana? Exactly, holiday in Povljana has only one fault – no cache. Cache is located on the cliff Povljana. We chose this place for two reasons. First reason is really nice view on the sea and sunsets. Of course you can say that it is almost every in Croatia, but the second reason is more important. Don´t forget diving mask, because around the cliff are two small bays and in these bays are hundreds of sea urchins and fishes. It´s really beautiful. Everywhere are skelets of sea urchins too, so you can get here free souvenir.

[CZ] Proc jsme se rozhodli zalozit nasi prvni prazdninovou kes prave v Povljane? Ano je to tak, dovolena v Povljane mela jenom jednu chybu – neni tu zadna kes. Kes jsme ulozili na mistni utes. Vybrali jsme toto misto ze dvou duvodu. Prvni duvod je uzasny vyhled na more a zapady slunce. Samozrejme muzete podotknout, ze takovy vyhled je v Chorvatsku vsude, ale je tu jeste druhy duvod. Nezapomente si sebou vzit potapecske bryle, protoze hned vedle utesu jsou dve male zatoky. V techto dvou zatokach jsou stovky, mozna tisice morskych jezku a ryb. Je to opravdu nadhera. Dno je take plne ulit morskych jezku, tekze si odsud muzete odvezt zdarma suvenyr.

Povljana

[EN] Povljana is small village on Pag island. In Povljana is connected „old-fashioned“ life of local villagers with life of tourist in modern apartment district The Laka. There is about 800 local inhabitants. On the main square you can find several shops, bars, bakery, fish market (morning only). You can find there the Church of st. George (crkva sv. Jurja) of 17th century. Here is famous mud with curative effects too etc.

[CZ] Povlajana je mala vesnicka na ostrove Pag. Propojuje se zde „staromodni“ zivot mistnich vesnicanu s zivotem turistu z moderni apartmanove ctvrti Laka. Zije zde okolo 800 stalych obyvatel. Na namesticku muzete najit nekolik obchodu, baru, pekarnu, rybi trh (pouze rano). Dale je zde treba kostel sv. Jiri (crkva sv. Jurja) ze 17. stoleti. Take se zde udajne na pobrezi nachazi lecive bahno atd.

Sea urchin/Morsky jezek

[EN] Sea urchins or urchins are small, spiny, globular animals which, with their close kin, such as sand dollars, constitute the class Echinoidea of the echinoderm phylum. They inhabit all oceans. Their shell, or "test", is round and spiny, typically from 3 to 10 centimetres (1.2 to 3.9 in) across. Common colors include black and dull shades of green, olive, brown, purple, and red. They move slowly, feeding mostly on algae. Their "roe" (actually the gonads) is a delicacy in many cuisines.

[CZ] Morsti jezci jsou ostnati morsti zivocichove tridy Jezovky (Echinoidea). Lze je nalezt v oceanech po celem svete. Jejich lastura je kulovity utvar pokryty ostny, velikost lastury dosahuje u dospelych jedincu typicky od 3 do 10 cm. Jejich ostny jsou tak ostre a pevne, ze se dokazi dostat zralokovi z bricha, pokud jsou jim pozreny. Typicti morsti jezci maji ostny dlouhe 1-2 cm. Jejich bezne zbarveni je cerne s odstiny zelene, olivove, hnede, nachove a cervene. Pohybuji se pomalu a zivi se predevsim rasami. Jejich jikry jsou velmi oblibene v mnoha kuchynich.
