I decided to put a cache here because it is a cool museum, and I'm not even into motorcycles! It has some really neat exhibits and stories. . . I had no idea motorcycles raced on wooden tracks about 100 years ago---talk about dangerous for the spectators! And volunteers ran out onto the track between laps to nail the boards back in! WHEW!! They have a lot of motorcycles from all vintages, lots of motorcycle-related stuff, and to top it all off, the first plumbed outhouse in the area, with two 'stalls' (obviously not in use anymore, but you can take a look at the old outhouse with fabric covered electric lines, metal toilets, etc. There is food available on weekends, and different events throughout the year. Admission is free, but feel free to leave a donation to keep this neat place running! Hours 10-5. CLOSED WEDNESDAYS. For those coming after hours, there is a lightswitch plate on the nearest utility pole to the outhouse out back.
