Dinosaur Train Caches

That is what Dr. Scott challenges his viewers to do at the end of each Dinosaur Train episode.

Dinosaur Train in the Berkshires: Palaeobatrachus is placed in a local campground where children are encouraged to get outdoors and explore.

This geocache features Palaeobatrachus! Palaeobatrachus, which means "ancient frog", was a large frog that lived in the water. By comparing the bones of this ancient frog to those living today, paleontologists think that it could hold its breath for a long time.

What is your favorite dinosaur? Be sure to tell us when signing the logbook!

During camping season (May – October) there is a small parking fee at the park gate. Dogs (on leashes) are welcome in the campground. Dogs are not allowed on the public beach in the park area.
