Geocache Description:

I finally went and rehid this constantly disappearing cache. It is such a great beach that I didn't want to abandon the site. This is a great reason to visit Steilacoom. Go at Sunset, you won't regret it! This is currently (as of April Fool's Day 2005) the 6th oldest cache in the state!! No Fooling!!! I am proud of it's well aged character. Her sister, Scooby Doo's Sister Stash, is almost as old- currently number 14!!

GO VIA SALTARS POINT PARK, NOT THE RR TRACKS!! It is only accesible at lower tides, for sure not at high tide. It is a small ammo box. It is about a quarter of a mile walk on the beach from the parking lot- same beach as last time but different location. Hopefully this one will not be found by the wrong people. While you are there, go check out the Steilacoom Marina- it's like something out of a Scooby Doo movie. Rather interesting but scary too! While on your walk along the beach to the cache you will pass a large rock with a National Geodetic Survey Vertical Control Marker in it. Kind of interesting, I thought.
