Unfortunately there's been some continuing issues with this cache and there is no reaction from the owner. Since the cache no longer meets the Guidelines requirements, I am archiving it. I'm also archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

If you think you have legitimate reasons for lack of maintenance and want to restore the cache in the near future, please let me know as soon as possible by the email provided in my profile. The message must include the GC code and the name of the cache. If the cache meets the requirements of the Guidelines and the reasons for unarchiving are justified, I may unarchive the cache.

[SLO]Slepi tir železnice predstavlja odcep Obvozne poti proti Crnucam. [EN]Blank track represents a former junction of the railway bypass to Crnuce. Železniška proga Vižmarje - Crnuce - Laze je nekdanja ljubljanska severna železniška obvoznica, ki je obratovala v casu nemške okupacije med letoma 1942 in 1945. Ko so med 2. svetovno vojno sile osi zasedle Jugoslavijo, je vecji del Ljubljane pripadel Italiji, severna predmestja pa Tretjemu rajhu. To je pomenilo tudi, da so se proge iz Jesenic, Kamnika in Zidanega Mosta, ki so vecidel vodile po ozemlju pod nemško zasedbo, stikale v Ljubljani pod italijansko zasedbo. Kljub sporazumu o železniškem prometu cez prehode v Bohinjski Bistrici, Vižmarjah in Crnucah, ki sta ga okupacijski sili sklenili 4. novembra 1941 in 20. decembra istega leta dopolnili, so se Nemci zaradi bojazni pred dolgotrajnimi italijanskimi carinskimi postopki odlocili »svoje« dele prek omenjenih prog povezati s t.i. Obvozno progo. Obenem so ljubljanska severna predmestja povezali tudi s cestami (del te cestne obvoznice predstavlja Obvozna cesta, še danes znana tudi kot Nemška cesta). Glavni mejni prehod je bil na postaji Vižmarje, ki so jo razširili in postavili dodatne barake za obmejne in carinske službe. Hkrati so v Crnucah na mestu postajališca zgradili postajo. Delovno silo so si zagotovili s propagandno akcijo »pravica do dela«. Moški, ki so zaradi razmejitve izgubili delo, so se tako morali zglasiti na uradu za delo, ki jih je lahko brez njihove privolitve poslal delat kamorkoli. Zahodni del trase med Vižmarjami in Crnucami je bil odprt 5. oktobra 1942, daljši vzhodni del od Crnuc do Laz pa 15. avgusta 1943. 18.035 km dolga proga je bila enotirna, vendar je bil spodnji ustroj grajen tudi za morebitni drugi tir. Najvecja dopustna hitrost je bila 100 km/h, najmanjši krivinski radij je znašal 550m, najvecji vzpon pa 6,5‰. Ob novozgrajeni progi so postavili še železniško postajo Bericevo (nemško Förtschach) in nedalec od nje še nakladališce. Promet na progi je bil ustavljen 8. maja 1945, takoj po nemškem umiku iz Ljubljane. Najprej je bil demontiran vzhodni del, kjer je ostal le industrijski tir od Crnuc do industrijske cone ob Brncicevi cesti. Preostali tiri so bili prepeljani v Bosno, kjer se je udarniško gradila proga med Brckom in Banovici. Odsek med Vižmarjami in Klecami pri Savljah je nekaj casa služil kot industrijski tir za potrebe Gradisove gramoznice, preostanek trase do Crnuc pa kot »parkirišce« za pokvarjene vagone. Do leta 1947 so odmontirali tudi zahodni del proge in gramoz odpeljali na gradbišce proge med Dutovljami in Sežano. Komaj je proga bila demontirana, so leta 1948 priceli razmišljati o ureditvi ljubljanskega železniškega vozlišca. Predvidena je bila obnova te proge ter njen 9 km dolg podaljšek od Vižmarij do Vica. Ker so obvoznico priceli graditi med pripravami na V. kongres KPJ, so jo poimenovali »Proga V. kongresa«. Leta 1949 so vsa dela nenadoma ustavili in jih niso vec nadaljevali. [EN] Railway Vižmarje - Crnuce - Laze was a former Ljubljana northern railway bypass, which was in operation during the German occupation between 1942 until 1945. When the second World War II Axis powers occupied Yugoslavia, most of the Ljubljana belonged to Italy, the northern suburbs of the Third Reich. This also meant that the routes from Jesenice, Kamnik and Zidani Most, which were mostly on the territory under German occupation were connected in Ljubljana under the Italian occupation. Despite agreement over the railway crossings in Bohinjska Bistrica, Crnuce and Vižmarje, the Germans had fear of lengthy Italian customs procedures and decided to connect "their" parts of the aforementioned routes with ”Northern railway bypass”. At the same time Germans also connected northern suburbs of Ljubljana with roads (part of a ring road bypass roads, today known as the Nemška-Obvozna road). The main railway border crossing was at the station Vižmarje, which was further expanded and in surrounding barracks for the border and customs services were built. At the same time in Crnuce a bigger the station was built. The western part of the route between Vižmarje and Crnuce was opened on 5. October 1942, longer-eastern part from Crnuce to Laze was opened on 15. August 1943. 18,035 km long railway was single track, but the substructure was built for any possible second track. The maximum permissible speed was 100 km / h, minimum bend radius was 550m, the largest rise is 6.5 ‰. At the newly built railway also new station Bericevo (German Förtschach) was built. Traffic on route was discontinued on 8th May 1945, immediately after the German withdrawal from Ljubljana. Eastern part was dismantled first, where only railway to the industrial zone Crnuce at Brncicevi road remained. The remaining tracks were transported to Bosnia, where the line between building Brcko and Banovic was built. Western part between Vižmarje and Klece some time served as a railway for the Gradis gravel, the remainder of the route to Crnuce as a "parking lot" for defective wagons. Until 1947, the western part of dismantled and the gravel was taken to the construction site of the railway between Sežana and Dutovlje. Hardly a line was dismantled; in 1948 they started thinking about the Ljubljana railway hub. Renewal of this line and also its 9 km long extension from Vižmarij to Vic was foreseen. Since the west railway bypass was started to build-up in the time of Fifth Congress of the Communist Party of Yugoslavia, it was called "Route of Fifth Congress ". In 1949, suddenly they stopped all works and work was never continued.
