A Vila Beatriz, em Ermesinde, possui um parque emblemático que inclui uma área de jardim com espécies arbóreas variadas e interessantes, uma área relvada também com árvores e um parque infantil.

No edifício principal do parque funcionam os serviços do Centro de Monitorização e Interpretação Ambiental e do Pólo de leitura de Ermesinde.

Em Abril de 2007 decorreu uma acção de identificação das árvores do jardim, com a participação de vários interessados e com o apoio do Dr. Paulo Alves do CIBIO - Centro de Investigação em Biodiversidade e Recursos Genéticos da Universidade do Porto.

Na sequência desta acção os participantes desenvolveram trabalhos sobre as espécies do jardim, que podem ser consultados no CMIA. Contamos assim que possível proceder à colocação de placas identificativas junto às árvores.

The Villa Beatriz, in Ermesinde, has a flagship park that includes a garden area with tree species varied and interesting, also a grassy area with trees and a playground.

In the main building of the park services work of the Center for Environmental Monitoring and Interpretation of the Pole and reading Ermesinde.

In April 2007 an action was held to identify the trees of the garden, with the participation of various stakeholders and with the support of Dr. Paulo Alves do CIBIO - Research Centre for Biodiversity and Genetic Resources, University of Porto.

Following this action the participants developed work on the species of the garden, which can be found in the CMIA. We proceed as soon as possible the placing of plaques identified where the trees.
