Most people use the main road to travel between Corralejo and El Cotillo. The idea of this cache is to provide you with a safe mini adventure along the northern coastal unpaved road where you will experience the breathtaking beauty of this fascinating route. The road is OK for any 2 WD car; just don't tell the car hire people.
Close by the cache lies the beautiful Caleta de Beatriz with its lovely white sand and safe bathing in the lagoon. This little gem is truly peaceful; a great place to rest a while and take in the sun. Just meditate. Furthermore it is more often than not deserted. Very likely you will have the place all to your own.
The above coordinates will take you to an obvious landmark. You can park the car a few metres away next to the beach. The cache itself is within one metre radius of N0: 30 DMPT.
Allowing an hour for the route will give you time to tarry a while now and then. Add on time for beach work and a few minutes to find the cache.
Take something to drink on the beach. Take plenty sun screen. Then you're done.
