Geocache Description:

Another simple Field Puzzle cache inspired by the 'Myst' Series of computer games.

All farms accumulate over the years a collection ofrusty history. So what do you do with all this interesting historic detritus? One solution is to make a Scrapheap Sculpture on your stockyard fence:

Here you will find the remains of a horse-drawn hay cutter and rake; a bit of a single-stand Sunshine milking machine; some lumps of pumps; wheels of all sorts; a plough disc; water pipe; bits I haven't a clue about, and parts of a burnt out pot belly stove!

And it also contains a Hidden GeoCache. A simple puzzle that should be no problem to anyone who is familiar with nineteenth century bush blacksmithing. If you've missed this important part of life's syllabus, there is a Big Fat Clue hidden in the (Pot) Belly of the Beast.

And please, remember to return everything as you found it!

I can't resist an oportunity to brag: Recently (September 2020) Geocaching HQ ran an item on "The Most Favorited Mystery Caches on Each Continent." And This modest little geocache is the most favourited in all of Oceania! That's Australia, New Zealand and all the Pacific Ocean Islands. Whoo-Hooo!

And this recently (2023) presented award from Germany:

Finally, please keep dogs on lead or locked away. We have livestock here that don't need worrying! And there may be fox baits around...
Also please note: this cache is on private property and not available at night.
