There are some beautiful views of the lake with plenty of fauna and flora.
Parts of this walk can be boggy in wet weather so suitable footwear is essential in wet weather or during winter months.

..
The walk then takes you to the "Moated Manor" cache near to the entrance of Middleton Hall then a straight level path towards Edward VI then to Lady Jane Grey and on to Mary I and finally a beautiful Yew Tree lined avenue towards Elizabeth I (Who holds the secret to a bonus cache.. Only available on Sundays and bank holidays)

..

There is much to appreciate at and about Middleton Hall. It was never a palace but it shows evidence of several phases of English domestic architecture from the late thirteenth to the early nineteenth century. There is a fine Great Hall that is of Tudor origin.
The Hall was the home of some notable people and was visited by many figures from history. Included among these is alleged to have been Queen Elizabeth I who is said to have spent two nights under its roof after the festivities at Kenilworth in 1575.

..

I wish to pass my thanks and appreciation to the Middleton Hall trust for allowing these caches to be placed around the beautiful grounds of this wonderful estate.

Please treat the grounds and walks with care and consideration. This is an area of natural beauty and as such it needs to be treated with great respect.

...

Congratulations to One Last Look for his FTF.. We salute you.
