The GHS Swamp Rabbit Trail is one of Greenville County’s genuine treasures!
As of July, 2013, nearly 125 active Geocaches are located within approximately two-tenths of a mile from the GHS Swamp Rabbit Trail, and more are being hidden every day. Several other caches that were previously placed along the SRT have been archived (they can count toward the total of 50).
To log this Find, you must have located and logged 50 caches of any type that are located within about .2 miles from the Swamp Rabbit Trail (any direction). This cache, GC33BEY, may count as one of the fifty.

To document your progress and your completion of the challenge, you must either create a Public Bookmark List that includes each of the qualifying caches, or post a List in your log entry. Greenville Hospital System Swamp Rabbit Trail is a 17.5 mile multi-use trail system that runs along the Reedy River connecting Travelers Rest with the City of Greenville, Lake Conestee Park, and eventually Simpsonville and Fountain Inn. The Swamp Rabbit will continue to grow throughout the county offering free, safe and fun recreation and transportation opportunities wherever it goes.

The distance from the Northern Campus of the Greenville Hospital System to Greenville Tech’s Pleasantburg Campus is 13.55 miles.
Mile Markers: Mile markers are installed at 1/2 mile intervals thanks to the hard work of volunteers from Johnson Controls. The first marker on the northern end starts with the number 23. Eventually mile 0 will be at the NC state line much like an interstate system.
All greenways are closed to any form of motor vehicles.
Trail Etiquette:
• Please remember the rules of the road and trail.
• Trail users must stop at all road crossings.
• Stay right except to pass.
• Announce yourself when passing from behind.
• Dogs must be on a leash no longer than 6ft.
• Dog owners must pick up after their pets.
• Pack out your trash.
