Denali41: When I placed this cache over 6 months ago, I received permission from the land owner. The authorization has just been rescinded because of liability concerns. So sadly, I need to take this nice cache off the air.

Geocache Description:

REACHING THIS CACHE REQUIRES SIGNIFICANT ROUTE-FINDING SKILLS AND EXPERTISE IN SCRAMBLING ON EXPOSED CLASS 4 ROCK PITCHES. A SHORT SECTION OF CLASS 5.0-5.1 ROCK CLIMBING IS ALSO NECESSARY, AND THIS PITCH CAN NOT BE PROTECTED. If you are inexperienced or are uncomfortable in such circumstances, you should not attempt this cache

This cache is hidden very close to the highest elevation of Point 7012, a Ranked Peak in Boulder County. The high point is similar to a large, large boulder perched on fairly steep terrain. A seeker needs to mount this highest point in order to reach the cache. Immediately south of the highest point, almost at the same level as the high point, is an oval depression in the rock that's several feet in diameter. The cache is tucked up under the southern lip of this cut-out depression.

Reaching the location where the Class 5 move needs to be made will test the route-finding skills of many people. Do not take chances--be persistent in searching out options, and you eventually will be rewarded by discovering a safe avenue to the top pitch.
