Place: Norrish Creek FSR at the 2km mark.
This is the final clean up event I am having for 2011. The past
C.I.T.O event we collected and removed 340KGs of garbage from the
Chilliwack area.
Do you think we can beat the 2009 total garbage collection of
700KGs? or the 2010 total garbage collection of 3040kgs? I think we
can! The amount can only be beaten with your help. Can you spare a
few hours to come and help clean up the Norrish Creek FSR?
We chose this area as it always seems to have a lot of muggle
activity and they leave behind muggle garbage! Let's show Mission
how much geocachers care and clean up this area!
We will be cleaning from the bottom of the FSR to the the 8km
mark,I do believe.
Things you should bring with you if you have them:
Gloves (as I only have a few)
Garbage Grabbers
A chair in case you want to hang out :)
If you are not familiar with the area here are the
directions.
From Agassiz: Take Hwy 7 to Dewdeny and turn right onto Hawkins
Pickle Road.
Follow the road and then watch for my signs.
From Mission: Take Hwy 7 to Dewdeny and go straight onto Hawkins
Pickle Road
(stop at the stop sign and be careful when you go straight
ahead)
