La dénomination de Saint Broingt est formée par corruption du vocable de la paroisse de Saint Bénigne. On a fait Saint Bérent puis Saint Béroingt et plus tard Saint Broingt.
C'est aussi le village d’adoption de Jean ROBINET écrivain paysan (Jean Fermier). Un verger de sauvegarde (croqueurs de pomme) y est également présent.

The naming of Saint Broingt is formed by corruption of the word of saint Bénigne's parish. We made Holy Bérent then Holy Béroingt and later Holy Broingt.
It is also the village of Jean ROBINET's adoption peasant writer (Jean Fermier). An orchard of saving (croqueurs de pommes) is there also present.
