Geocache Description:

Rtanj is the right destination for nature lovers, hiking and mystical stories and legends. Rarely mountain that adorn so many legends, from being constantly visited by aliens, and to numerous legends about the great wealth that it hides.

Rtanj is on the road that connects Paracin with Zajecar at some 200 kilometers from Belgrade, near the town of Boljevac. Rtnja can be easily reached, because for the most part off the trip use the route Belgrade-Nis highway to Paracin, where the turn in the direction of Zajecar. The mountain rises abruptly from the plain and ends almost regular cone, and many believe that the Rtanj is pyramid similar to those in neighboring Bosnia. The highest peak is called Šiljak (spike), with its 1565 meters is a real natural phenomenon. Rtanj is the right destination for nature lovers, hiking and mystical stories and legends. Rarely mountain that adorn so many legends, from being constantly visited by aliens, and to numerous legends about the great wealth that it hides. The most interesting is linked to alien activity: apparently, over the top of the fireballs appear, because the aliens create an underground secret heliport, whose doors open only in the rainy days, when the tip deep into the clouds. Rtanj is also famous for aphrodisiac plant than that, since who knows, the famous Rtanj prepared tea. Until recently, were organized harvest off Rtanj tea, but some time ago is ban to harvest because the "male plant", which grows only here, worrying thinned.
