Montegordo, o “Montugordo” segons algunes versions que fan referència a la toponímia original, és una bonica muntanya del Maestrat no gaire coneguda. Al seu peu i seguint per la carretera local d'Albocàsser a Tírig es pot veure el Barranc de la Valltorta que acull diferents abrics o coves amb les millors pintures rupestres de l’art llevantí, datades entre 8000 i 6000 anys AC. Podeu visitar el seu museu (https://museudelavalltorta.gva.es/va/inicio). Van ser declarades monument historicoartístic el 1924 i actualment són patrimoni de la humanitat declarat per la UNESCO. Per pujar us recomanem fer-ho seguint les marques blanques i verdes que porten des de prop de la carretera CV-130 fins el cim. At the foot along the local road local Albocàsser - Tírig you can see the gorge of the Valltorta different shelters and caves that houses the best paintings of Levantine art, dating from between 8000 and 6000 years BC. To climb up you may do so by following the green and white brands that lead from near the CV-130 road to the summit.
