Florencia Beach
This geocache is located on Florencia Beach, in Pacific Rim National Park Reserve. From the Florencia Beach parking lot, a short trail will lead you to the beach. From here, it is a one kilometre walk (one way) to the geocache. Those interested in a longer route might consider following the Nuu-chah-nulth Trail from the Kwisitis Visitor Centre (2.5 kilometres one way). This interpretive trail offers a glimpse into the culture of the Nuu-chah-nulth people.
This cache will not be accessible at very high tides or during storm events. Check a tide table before you go, or pick up a Tide Guide at any park visitor centre. For your safety, respect any storm closures that may be in place.
La plage Florencia
Du stationnement, un court sentier vous amène à la plage Florencia. À partir de là, il faut marcher un kilomètre pour se rendre à la cache. Si vous cherchez un parcours un peu plus long, empruntez le sentier Nuu-chah-Nulth du centre de visiteur Kwisitis (2,5 km). Ce sentier d’interprétation autonome vous donnera un aperçu de la culture des Nuu-chah-nulth.
Cette géocachette ne sera pas accessible durant les marées hautes ni durant les tempêtes. Verifiez la table des marées avant votre départ et procurez vous un guide des marées à l’un de nos centres d’information. Pour votre sécurité, veuiller respectez les fermetures pour tempêtes en vigueur.
