Brotherseldom: Looks like Homer Simpson got to this one. Six years is a good run. Time to move on to other pastries.

Geocache Description:

I had been out caching all night and I really needed something to eat. . What I really needed was a donut -- probably a few. Anything else was just not gonna cut it

I drove north on the highway until I found a donut shop. I got out while my buddies parked the car. There had to have been like twenty-seven or so cop cars in the parking lot. This was a good sign.

I wandered inside and started scoping out the display case. I was in heaven. They had thirty different varieties. It was so hard to decide. Should I get an apple fritter or a bear claw? "Wait, I know, I can get a multiple donuts!" I thought to myself. I eventually settled on a chocolate glazed twist for myself and some Bavarian cream filled donuts for my friends.

"That'll be $218," said the guy working the register. I was astonished at the ridiculous price. "For that much they better be filled with gold dust, " I retorted.

I left the shop donut-less and met my friends in the parking lot. We got back in the car and drove westward searching eagerly for another donut shop. It was ninety minutes before we found one.

I impatient and hungry so I parked across several handicapped spots right in front of the shop. I leaped out of the car and ran inside. Jackpot! This particular store had over forty different varieties. I was salivating as my eyes scanned the display case. I fixated on a maple bacon bar. I gave into my base desires and grabbed a baker's dozen.

I wandered back to the car to wait for my friends, munching away on a maple bar the entire time. I walked up to the drivers side door only to notice a citation slipped under the windshield wiper blade. I retrieved it and gave it a once over. All in all the donuts only set me back $469. It was totally worth it.
