Valsts nozimes arhitekturas piemineklis – Hartmana muiza. Hartmana muiza ir 18. gadsimta celtu eku kopums – divas no tam tiek sauktas par muizam, lai ari laika gaita katras ekas nozimigums mainijies. Celtne tagadeja Kalnciema iela 28 raksturo senas Rigas piepilsetas namu celtniecibas paraugu, kas lidzigs ta laika zemnieku majas tipam. Kad tirgotaja atraitne Johanna Gertrude Fengere iegadajas gruntsgabalu Kalnciema iela 30 un vinas meita apprecas ar tirgotaju un Lielas Gildes vecako Vilhelmu Hartmani, tiek apvienotas divas ekas un apkart esoša teritorija un izveidojas Hartmana muižas ansamblis ar parku.
"Gandrs" par šo kulturvesturiski bagato vietu rupejas kopš savas dibinašanas 1989. gada. Uznemums sakotneji dibinats ka izdevnieciba, kas specializejas gramatu izdošana par dabu, bet šobrid Gandrs ir ari nozimigs turisma un atputas precu tirgotajs Latvija.

This geocache is hidden in the territory of the company Gandrs. As the geocache is hidden in the guarded territory, it can be searched for only during the day time from 12 AM till 8 PM in working days, in holidays from 10 AM to 6 PM. The company Gandrs is situated in the Hartmana manor that is also recognized as a national memorial. Hartmann's Manor is a complex of buildings from the 18th century - two of them are called manors, although over the time each building's significance and dominance was changing. The building in Kalnciema Street 28 is characterized by an old suburban house building model, similar to the farmhouse’s type from the 18th century. When a merchant’s widow Johanna Gertrude Fenger purchased a building site at Kalnciema Street 30 but her daughter married a merchant and the Great Guild's senior Wilhelm Hartmann, two buildings and the surrounding area were united and formed the ensemble of Hartmann's Manor and park.
Since its foundation in the 1989, Gandrs has renovated the manor and takes care about this national treasure. The company originally was founded as a publishing house that specializes in publishing of books about nature. Now Gandrs has expanded multifunctional business. Besides primary publishing business, the company is well recognized as one of the biggest outdoor equipment distributors in Latvia.
