Geocache Description:

This cache is located in Pocantico Lake County Park. The park consists of a trail and a nice little bridge. Parking is available for a few cars at the end of Pocantico Lake Road. To find the cache you will need to hike off the trail for about 1/4 - 1/2 of a mile depending on when you decide to veer off of the path(bringing children is not advised). We left the path at the three rocks before the bridge but there are probably other ways to get to it.

The name of this cache refers to "Schrödinger's cat," a thought experiment put forth by Erwin Schrödinger, a Nobel Laureate physicist. Click here to learn about Schrödinger's Cat. The cache is a large, gray box (able to fit plenty of swag) sealed with 2 latches which require unscrewing. A SCREWDRIVER IS NEEDED TO OPEN THIS CACHE! Phillips or flat head will work. Please note, that you do not need to completely remove the screws, loosening them will be enough to slide the latches off. The box contains a relephant prize for the FTF, or does it? You will also find a CITO container and a large log book, so feel free to draw a picture of the scenery or whatever you feel fit. Please remember to re-hide the cache the way you found it. Please remember A SCREWDRIVER IS NEEDED TO OPEN THIS CACHE!
