Cache Culture - Palatka Style - Norway

When caching abroad you will often discover that the cache culture differs from your home country. Geocaches are certain types, or certain types of caches are favored. Sometimes even the cache ratings differ radically. It is educative to explore the cache cultures of different countries and learn from them, when hiding your own caches. Only downside is that you need to travel. But do not worry, this series introduces you to the cache cultures in different countries here in Finland. Please note that this series of caches are made with views of cache cultures by couple of geocachers.

This cache will present a so-called Norwegian Palatka style cache. Cache is magnetic. In winter snow may hinder the search of the cache.

From the log pjacklam: The story behind the name is that a Norwegian couple – “Team Mixen” – I think, had been on a holiday in Florida, geocaching in the town of Palatka. There they saw this kind of container and introduced it in Norway. And this kind of cache has since been called a “palatka cache”
