GAZEBO! This spot overlooks the Prairie River and Prairie Trails Park. When you arrive at the GZ take a look down and picture the water line up to the rocks. This park used to be under water until the dam from a closed paper mill was demolished. Updated this to a 1.5 all around, some people were saying it wasn't as easy to find as they were expecting.
This cache is in honor of my dad. When I was younger I remember him letting me stay up until midnight on Sunday nights to listen to the Dr. Demento show with him. For those of you who aren’t familiar the Dr. Demento show is a radio program that features novelty, comedic, and just unusual songs and recordings. The skit/song “Bulbous Bouffant,” preformed by The Vestibules, is still one of my all time favorites. When I drove past this spot about a month ago I just knew “It Must Be Done!” You are looking for a micro matchstick container. BYOP. Cache can be wheelchair accessible if you are adventurous.
