A micro cache placed near the historic St John the Baptist Church in Horrabridge.
St John the Baptist Church is one of two Churches in the Dartmoor village of Horrabridge. The two churches work together (despite one being Anglican and the other Methodist) and share staff and services.
The original chapel for the church was built in 1438, but the current building is much more modern, dating back to 1893, and it was built of stone quarried locally and designed by Plymouth born architect George Fellowes Prynne
There is on road parking nearby in residential streets and in a layby opposite the church(please respect driveways, garages etc. and park considerately during weddings/funeral/baptisms).
There is no need to enter the Church grounds.
While you are in Horrabridge, you may wish to explore what it has to offer - a lovely play park, riverside walks, small shops and pubs.
If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.
