Pankrácké sochy
K založení této keše mě inspirovaly keše Jarovske sochy a Zapomenute sochy I. Uvědomil jsem si, kolik různých soch je i na sídlištích, na kterých jsem se pohyboval v dětství a mládí. Pojďme se na ně společně podívat. Čeká na nás necelé dva kilometry dlouhá procházka kolem soch sídlišť Pankrác I a Pankrác II.
Ke zjištění indicií není potřeba nic, co je vytvořeno později než v sedmdesátých letech. Žádná tabulka z plastu indicie neobsahuje.

A teď již ke keši:
Na úvodních souřadnicích u vstupu do stanice metra Pražského povstání je reliéf na památku tohoto povstání. V pravé části je vsazena deska s vytesaným postříbřeným nápisem. Kolik řádků ho tvoří?
A =
Od reliéfu přejděte křižovatku na nejbližších semaforech směrem na jih a jděte po levé straně čtvercové budovy. Před cukrárnou naleznete abstraktní betonovou plastiku. Z kolika objektů je sestavena?
B =
Postavte se čelem k jihu a zahněte kolem domu vpravo - pod chodbou spojující budovy vidíte zamřížovaný vstup do průchodu, který býval pro veřejnost otevřený. Kolik reliéfů je na mřížích? (Ty z protější strany nepočítejte)
C =
Jděte dál na nejbližší roh a zahněte doleva, před vysokým panelákem ještě jednou doleva a vzápětí doprava. Ocitnete se na širokém chodníku, který býval ulicí pro pěší jménem Runcikova, Runzikova či Runczikova, na každé ze tří orientačních cedulí bylo to jméno napsáno jinak. Dejte se po tomto chodníku vzhůru a sledujte prostranství vlevo. Přijdete k první figurální soše - kolik postav zobrazuje?
D =
Pokračujte dále vzhůru původním směrem a přijdete k druhé figurální soše. V jakém směru je orientována její nejdelší osa?
E = 2 pro S-J
E = 5 pro V-Z
Jste kousek od světelné křižovatky, naproti máte obchodní dům Arkády. Nepřecházejte a dejte se vpravo, až dojdete ke kruhovému objezdu. U budovy polikliniky stál objekt zdobený mozaikou v barvách bílé, červené a modré, připomínající iniciály J a P, tak se z něj stal památník Jana Palacha. Socha byla odstraněna až po pádu komunismu z neznámých důvodů. Mozaikou byla zdobená i západní stěna budovy.
Intermezzo: zde jsem vás chtěl protáhnout parkem, ale protože ze čtyř zajímavých objektů tam zůstal pouze zbytek soklu jednoho z nich, procházku jsem zkrátil.
Dejte se vlevo a po chvilce dorazíte k dalšímu kruhovému objezdu. Přejděte na jihovýchodní chodník. Projděte po cestičce až před bránu vedle vstupu do restaurace a kousek od sebe máte skupinu soch, která byla původně umístěna uprostřed chodníku před mostem přes chodník (nahoře býval billiard klub.) Kolik těch soch je? (Nepočítejte zvířecí ani jejich části.)

Pokračujte branou po korzu podél prodejních pavilónů směrem na jih. Další sochu naleznete vpravo na prostranství - dvojice postav je zhotovená z jakeho materiálu?

Stejný chodník, o kousek dále je vlevo kolmo na něj betonová plastika. Kolik objektů ji tvoří?

Vpravo je kašna a u ní sousoší - kolik bílých čtvercových "bazénků" je v kašně a kolik tvorů tvoří sousoší?

Jste na konci pasáže a vpravo vidíte sochu otočenou směrem k ulici. Znázorňuje:
K = 9 sedící ženu
K = 6 stojícího muže
K = 3 hrající si dítě
A jste skoro u cíle. Vraťte se zpět na konec krytého chodníku a pokračujte v jeho směru podél parkoviště. Na prvním křížení chodníku zatočte doleva a stojíte u poslední sochy této procházky. A otázka zní - je skrz tuto sochu vidět?

Pankrac Sculptures
When hunting for two caches inspired by forgotten statues in Prague (Jarovske sochy and Zapomenute sochy I) I realised how many various sculptures and statues are scattered around Communist-era housing estates in one of which I grew up. Let’s take a little walk around Pankrac I and Pankrac II neighbourhoods to explore this artistic aspect of 1970’s urban architecture.

And now to the cache itself:
The initial coordinates take you to the entrance to the Prazskeho Povstani underground station where you can see a memorial relief of the Prague Uprising. There is a memorial plaque on its right-hand side. Count the lines of the silver colored inscription to get number A.

Cross the road at the nearest traffic lights to the south and proceed along the left side of the cubic building. Outside the confectionary stands an abstract concrete sculpture. How many elements does it consist of?
B =
Turn south and walk to the right. You will see an iron gate under the bridge connecting the two buildings. There used to be an open passage through the atrium. How many reliefs are there on the grates? (Do not count those on the opposite side.)
C =
Turn left at the nearest corner and left again in front of a high-rise block of flats, and to the right at the nearest corner. You will find yourself on a wide pedestrian way that used to be called Runcikova, Runzikova or Runczikova, every street sign bearing a different name. Follow the way up and watch for open spaces on the left. When you reach the first sculptural group, count how many human forms it depicts to get number D.

Proceed up in the original direction to reach another sculpture. Which direction does its longest axis take?

You are standing at a crossroads, facing the Arkady shopping mall across the street. Do not cross the road but turn right and walk along the road to reach a roundabout. At the out-patient clinic to your right, there used to stand a sculpture decorated with black, blue, red and white mosaic, the Czech tricolore. The flame-shaped sculpture depicted the letters J and P to commemorate the self-incineration of student Jan Palach in protest of the 1968 Soviet occupation of Czechoslovakia. The western wall of the clinic bore the same colours. The true meaning of the cryptic statue was never officially revealed before 1989, for obvious reasons.
Intermezzo: From here I wanted to take you for a walk around a nearby park but out of the four interesting objects along the way, there remains only the foundations of one of them, so we take a shortcut.
Take a left-hand turn to reach another roundabout in a short while. Cross the road to the south-east. Follow a path to the gate at the entrance to a restaurant. You will see a sculptural group nearby. It used stand in the middle of the pavement before a pedestrian bridge (there used to be a billiard club up there). Cout human figures in the group.

Proceed through the gate along the shopping arcade to the south. The next sculpture lies in the opening on the right. What material are the two figures made of?

Follow along the same pavement. A further down on the left is a concrete sculpture. How many elements does it consist of?

On the right is a fountain with a sculptural group. Count all white square pools and animal figures.

You have reached the end of an arcade and should be able to see a sculpture on the right. It is facing the street and depicts:

You are nearly there. Now return to the end of the arcade and continue in its direction along the parking lot. Turn left at the first cross of pavements. You have reached the last sculpture of this walk. The question is: can you see through the sculpture?
