Old house abandoned 70 years ago
This destination can be seen from the main-road #1, about two kilometers away. The house is in a remarkably good condition compared to its age and lack of maintainance. On the site there are signs of other buildings that have deteriorated wonderfully, but the only concrete-building is some round tower for hay-storage. The name of the place was Svarðbæli. We recommend parking at the waypoint one kilometer from the house (there is no maintained road, only track).
