This cach is for those of you that like adventure. We have been visiting this litle island almost every summer since 1994. We love to enjoy the butiful view on the different side arms of the lake Saima (pictures will be uploaded in some weeks). It ist also a perfect place to go swiming if you like more deep water than a sandy beach. This island has not been given a name so we call it "Pinei Linnasaari".
If you are not a extremely god swimmer and have a waterproof GPS you need the access to boat or cano.
A good place to park your car and water your vessel is found at N 61° 32.973 E 027° 57.740.
The cach will be covered by snow in the winter.
Update 2016-07-24
After five years, we have updated the container and given the cach a more reasonable name.
Since all the logs until now noticed, that the cach is easy to find, we have made it a bit more difficult to find.
We thank all the finder for the nice feedbacks. Also the hints to the correct behavior in this
vulnerable environment. Showing respect to Mother Nature should be mandatory to all geocacher.
