The North County Trailway is a paved bicycle and pedestrian path located primarily on right-of-way lands of the former Putnam Division of the New York Central Railroad. The Trailway runs 22.1 miles and is located between the Southern County Trailway to the south and the Putnam County Trail to the north.
This section of the trail begins off the RT100 shoulder and flows through the town of Millwood, continuing to all points North. A small lock n lock, suitable for coins to move through and small tb's to be passed along. Its first tenant fit in nicely along with some other trinkets and the log book. Remember as always to watch for the standard "threats" to all of us geocachers while here. Ticks, poison ivy, thorns, wet shoes, fast paced muggles, etc. All of which were hopefully avoided as best as possible upon cache placement, but you know the drill and know what to watch out for. Don't forget to rehide as well as or better than found too.
