Dolovo - das verlassene Dorf Dolovo ist ein verlassenner Ort der Gemeinde Dobrinj auf der Insel Krk und liegt zwischen den Dörfern Kras und Gostiniac. Obwohl der Ort nicht mehr bewohnt wird, ist es immer noch offiziell als Dorfgemeinschaft registriert. Das Dorf Dolovo wurde 1780 zum ersten Mal erwähnt und hatte im Jahr 1880 128 Einwohner. In den Jahrzehnten danach verließen die Bewohner das Dorf und auch die Insel, um z. B. in Deutschland oder sogar in Amerika ein besseres Leben zu suchen, denn in diesen Gebieten herrschte oft Hunger. Bei der Volkszählung von 1974 wurden noch 4 Bewohner gezählt. Heutzutage kann man beobachten, wie sich die Natur ihre Flächen zurückerobert und die Ruinen immer mehr in einem dichten Wald einwachsen. Parken entweder beim Friedhof von Kras (Vela Gromaca ist ein schöner Aussichtspunkt) an Position 45.1102,14.60564 oder auf der Strasse von Kras nach Dobrinjnach der Abzweigung an Position 45.11561, 14.60568 neben dem Feldweg. Der Cache befindet sich im Türrahmen einer Haustüre. Bitte seien sie vorsichtig, denn die Ruinen sind mehr als baufällig und das Betreten ist sehr gefährlich. Dolovo - the abandoned village Dolovo is an abandoned village in the municipality of Dobrinj on the island of Krk and it lies between the villages of Kras and Gostiniac. Although the site is no longer inhabited, it is still officially registered as a village community. The village Dolovo was first mentioned in 1780 and in 1880 it had 128 inhabitants. In the decades after the inhabitants left the village and the island to search for a better life in Germany or even in America, because in these areas there was often hungry. In the census of 1974, four residents were counted. Nowadays you can see how nature reclaimed their land and grow more and more of the ruins in a dense forest. Parking either at the cemetery of Kras (Gromaca Vela is a beautiful lookout point) at position 45.1102,14.60564 or on the road from Kras to Dobrinj after the junction at position 45.11561, 14.60568 beside the road. The cache is located in the doorway of a house. Please be careful, because the ruins are more than dilapidated and entering is very dangerous.
