Planetenmodell
Der Planetenwanderweg ist ein Modell unseres Sonnensystems im Maßstab 1:2,8 Mrd. Er ist entlang der historischen Sichtachse Bad Nauheims zwischen Goldstein- und Sternwartenturm angelegt. Neben dem wissenschaftlichen wird auch der künstlerische Aspekt hervorgehoben, was sich in der Ausgestaltung der einzelnen Himmelskörper manifestiert.
Der Multicache führt entlang des Planetenwanderweges – beginnend am äußeren Rand des Sonnensystems hin zur Sonne. Während dieser Reise sind auf einzelnen Stationen Fragen zu beantworten, die das Ermitteln der Zielkoordinaten für den Cache ermöglichen. Die Strecke des Multicaches vom Start- zum Zielpunkt beträgt ca. 3 km bei ca. 130 m Höhendifferenz, wer zurück zum Ausgangspunkt möchte, benötigt ungefähr die gleiche Strecke nochmals.
The planet walk is a model of our solar system in scale 1:2.8 billion. It is along the historic line of sight between Goldstein tower and observatory tower. The trail leads along the planets - starting at the outer edge of the solar system up to the sun. During this trip you have to answer questions at each station. The answers allows you to determinate the target coordinates for the cache. The route of the multi-cache from starting point to destination is about 3 km and 130 m height difference. Back to the starting point you have to walk the same distance again.
