Geocache Description:

PLEASE NOTE: This Geocache is remote but worthy of the effort. Traveling to this Cache will require a high clearance vehicle as well as a desire to explore. If you are prepared to partake in this endeavor, keep reading. The result of engaging in this opportunity of exploration will be extremely rewarding and spectacular. Here are some driving directions, these may be updated in the future to make the drive more simple. First travel through the town of Wilmer on the Westside Road and continue to follow it when it turns to gravel, Eventually you will come to a 4- way intersection at which you need to take a Left turn onto the 'Horsethief Creek Forestry Service Road'. You will need to follow this road for quite some time until you reach a two way junction with a sign post denoting access to The Lake of the Hanging Glacier trailhead. Take the Right Fork and continue along the road. This area has been prone to heavily logging operations, and you will begin to see many roads branching to each side which provide access for such operations. Ignore these and keep your course along the main access road. From this point forward you are expected to tap into your sense of adventure and exploration to travel to your final Destination.

The area in which you will come apon is truly spectacular, and you should count yourself very lucky to be one of the few to experience it.

Please post your Experiences as well as any Photos. Although no Photo can disclose the true beauty you will experience.

Happy Caching!
