mkleggs: We are not caching as much as we used to and therefore need to reduce the number of active caches that we have placed over the years. This one doesn't;t get a lot of action and is now on private property so we removed it.

Cacheis located in the middle of the cut through the rocks.
This old RR bed makes for a nice little hike, you'll see "Pats Spring" a fresh water spring that keeps running all year long, an impressive cut through a large rock outcrop, a view of the river and even an old graveyard.
We originally placed these caches in mid-May and didn't publish them because a lot of the trail was submerged in large puddles due to the wet spring. So if you plan on doing these in the spring of the year or after a long rainy spell, bring rubber boots
Accuracy was +/-6 meters at the time we placed the cache due to the effects of the high rock cliffs. so the hint will be more helpful than your GPS
